Information Guidelines

Club/ Team Eligibility

Entry is open to Clubs, Academies and School groups.

Player Eligibility: All players must be registered into the tournament platform.

The Pre Season Cup offers 2 separate events:

 

1) Community Pre Season Cup, 13-14th February 2027

Community Youth Boys : Suitable for ambitious community clubs (U13-U16) capped at 16 teams per category.  2-day event

Community Youth Girls : Suitable for ambitious Community clubs (U14-U16) capped at 16 teams per category.  2-day event.

2) Mini Roos Junior Pre Season Cup, 20th & 21st March 2027 Sydney Academy of Sports 

Junior Mixed Pre Season Cup: Suitable for ambitious teams (U8-U12) capped at 16 teams per category. 1-day event.

Junior Girls Pre Season Cup: Suitable for ambitious teams (U8-U12) capped at 16 teams per category. 1 day event.

The Pre Season Cup Organising Committee (PSCOC) reserves the right to place teams into divisions that may not be their preferred nomination.

Played in line with FIFA laws and FA guidelines
7v7 & 9v9

– Playing time: 20mins
– Goal size: 5×2
– No half time
– Max number of players 12
– 3 Team Officials

U13-U16

Played in line with FIFA laws and FA guidelines
– 11v11
– Field Size: Full Field
– Playing time: 30mins
– Goal size: Full Size
– No half time
– Max number of players 16
– 3 Team Officials

Extra Time

No Extra time

Games needing a result will go straight to a penalty shootout. 

Proof of age: All participating players will require official identification

*All registration fees will incur an online processing fee ontop of the registration fee

Insurance

All participating players will have to have their own medical insurance.

Accreditation Process

All players participating in the event will be registered and accredited including media and officials.
Players will be required to wear their wristbands for the duration of the event. Any missing wristband will have to be replaced at cost.
